Different journeys. A stronger tomorrow.
Education is the most powerful tool you can use to change your future.
The Awards
Two full-ride scholarships will be awarded:
One (1) Full-Ride Scholarship to an applicant between the ages of 18 and 23.
One (1) Full-Ride Scholarship to an applicant age 24 or older.
Scholarship recipients must enroll and begin their program during the Winter A 2027 Term, beginning January 11, 2027.
Exception for Current High School Seniors
If an applicant is currently a senior in high school and is unable to begin a university program in January 2027 due to high school enrollment or graduation requirements, the Full-Ride Scholarship may be applied to the Summer A 2027 or Fall A 2027 Term. This exception applies only to applicants who are current high school seniors at the time of application.
Eligibility
To be considered for the OYC & Atlantis University Scholarship Program, applicants must:
Apply through the designated OYC Scholarship Landing Page, or receive a personal referral directly from OYC.
Submit an Application for Admission in accordance with the requirements in the current Atlantis University Catalog.
A valid government-issued ID must be uploaded together with your application.
An Admissions Advisor will contact you within two (2) business days to review your application and next steps — virtually or in person.
List Atlantis University as one of the schools designated to receive your FAFSA information. AU's Financial Aid Office can assist.
Admission and scholarship eligibility are contingent upon meeting all University admissions requirements, policies, and procedures.
Applicants must satisfy all applicable admissions requirements prior to enrollment. Selection as a scholarship recipient does not waive or replace any University admissions requirement or policy.
Scholarship Essay
Applicants must submit an original essay of 500–1,000 words addressing the following:
Why are you applying for this scholarship?
Why is now the right time for you to complete a university degree program?
What are your educational, professional, and/or career goals following graduation?
How has OYC impacted your life, personal growth, or future aspirations?
Key Dates
November 30, 2026
All applications and required supporting documentation must be submitted by this date. Applicants are encouraged to apply early to allow sufficient time for admissions and financial aid review.
December 15, 2026
Full-Ride Scholarship recipients are selected by a committee at Atlantis University based on demonstrated financial need and review of the scholarship essay, along with completion of all scholarship and admissions requirements.
January 11, 2027
Scholarship recipients enroll and begin their academic program at Atlantis University.
For the Whole Community
The OYC–Atlantis University partnership is designed to support the educational goals of the broader OYC community — not only the two Full-Ride Scholarship recipients.
All qualified applicants who complete the scholarship and admissions process will be eligible for an Atlantis University institutional scholarship.
Only two (2) applicants — one in the 18–23 age category and one in the 24+ age category — will be selected for the Full-Ride Scholarships. Applicants who are not selected will still have the opportunity to receive an alternative institutional scholarship toward their Atlantis University education, subject to applicable eligibility requirements.
Fine Print
All applicants seeking consideration for the OYC–Atlantis University scholarship program, including the two Full-Ride Scholarships, are required to complete the FAFSA and list Atlantis University as one of the schools designated to receive their FAFSA information.
Any Federal Pell Grant funding for which a recipient is eligible will be applied toward the cost of the recipient's degree program before Atlantis University scholarship funding is applied. Institutional scholarship funding will then be applied in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable scholarship.
All scholarship awards are contingent upon the applicant satisfying Atlantis University's admissions requirements and complying with applicable University policies and procedures. Receipt or notification of a scholarship award does not constitute admission to the University or waive any admissions requirement.
The Atlantis University Financial Aid Office is available to assist applicants with completing the FAFSA and answering questions regarding the financial aid process.
Questions or Need Assistance?
Atlantis University Admissions and Financial Aid teams are available to assist OYC applicants throughout the admissions, FAFSA, and scholarship process. We look forward to supporting OYC constituents as they take the next step toward achieving their educational and career goals.
